CraigsList in Hot Water Again

According to a CNN report today, Craigslist is in trouble again. Apparently someone placed a false ad online which said that everything in an Oregon family's home is up for the taking. As scavengers were tearing apart the home, taking everything in sight, the family pulled up, in complete shock. The authorities are looking for the culprait and people are being asked to return anything taken.

Hi Whitney! You left a comment on my International Communications blog (http://kgoldrajch.blogspot.com)a few weeks ago (I was immersed in work and had to travel for business...) Anyway,... I am back! so, first of all: thanks for your post. You know, I also get very scarred when I read these news and the lack of control on peer-to-peer websites such as Craigslist. The company that I co-founded has developed a technology that helps preventing this type of crime but still allows you to stay anonymous and protect your privacy. I'd love to remain in touch with you and hear your opinion on that and the new posts on my blog. Take care! Karina

Whitney,
She's using blog connections as a marketing tool, letting you know that she has a business that deals with a type of technology abuse. You might want to bring this up in your presentation as an example of the ways people use blogs to promote and network.

Good subject for a posting.
